Subject: Partners help with Art Installation?

Hello Christopher,

I believe Burl Hash the director of the Sorenson Center has spoken to you and many of the MBA partners in terms of the arts at Babson.

We have invited Line Bruntse, a wonderful Danish Sculptor to do an large scale Art Installation where she will be creating a sculpture by intersecting string through the Atrium in Olin. She will be bringing some assistants and we have some student help but the size of the project is quite ambitious so I was hoping that there some of the MBA partners might be interested in assisting with some of the installation. We will be working during the week of Jan 9-13th, on a 10-6 schedule. I would appreciate if you could pass along this info to anyone who might be interested. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions . Line's work is visible at http://www.linebruntse.com/ the "Aspire" piece has the most connection to what she'll be doing in Olin.

I hope that the end of your semester is going well.

Best,

Danielle

FW: Silver Night - This Friday, December 2nd

Hello Partners,

In case your student has not mentioned it, this Friday is the annual Silver Night at the Cambridge Center Marriot Hotel. This is a fantastic semi-formal event with music, dancing, food, and cocktails. Also, the Babson Partners Group is co-sponsoring the “Pre-Party” event to be held from 5 – 7pm at the Asgard Pub and Restaurant, 350 Massachusetts Avenue (between Central Square and MIT), Cambridge, MA. So if you’d like to come and enjoy a full night of fun with the Babson community, be sure to remind your student to buy your Silver Night tickets soon! They are $30 each and can be purchased in the lobby to Olin Hall.

Hope to see you there!

-Chris

Have Children??

Hi! My name is Darlene Gruttadauria-Lee and my husband is attending Babson College MBA program in his first year. I have created this Yahoo Group for the Babson College MBA students who have children. I would like to start having playdates on Saturdays or weeknights while the husbands/wives study and the moms/dads can get together and socialize while their partner studies.

I currently live in Natick and would like to start one at my house and I can work with parents to create playgroups near or around their area so partners can socialize with others and not feel isolated with their children. We moved here from California and have no family in the area and we have a 3 year old (almost 4). Parenting can be difficult and this group can help get through the challenges. If interested please accept the invitation and come along with your kids for a fun time.

I plan on making trips to Children's Museum in Boston, Science Museum, local parks, Chuckee Chesse, our homes and local fairs and many more as a group we can decide what to do?
